First Player to Achieve 50 Games

10/8/2017

Congratulations to Tim Elsley on achieving 50 games for the Howick / Pakuranga AFL Team. Tim is the first player to reach 50 games in the clubs history; having been an original member playing all 6 seasons to date.

As an experienced centre halfback, he is a pillar in the Hornets backline with high work rate and always gives his all. Tim has seen the good times of the club winning the Division 2 Premiership in their establishing year and also the low times, where the club struggled to field a team. Tim persevered through it all and as such has accomplished this outstanding achievement.

As a senior player Tim is a role model to newer teammates, his attitude on and off the field and his skill on the field is an attribute to the team. The club would like to thank Tim for all his effort over the years and hope it continues into the future to win a Premiership flag.

Well done Tim!

Up the Hornets!
